Guidelines for student attendees:

  1. Equipment Loan:
    • Attendance at one of the regional trainings is mandatory for equipment loan.
    • Students who borrow a track chair from ASPO are considered an ASPO athlete and subject to ASPO policies and procedures.
    • Students and parents/guardian must arrive promptly at 12:30 for equipment fittings.
    • ASPO will do its best to make sure that a chair is available at the training that will work for students that register timely.  However, track chairs are not one size fits all and additional modifications may be necessary.  If ASPO is unable to fit the student with a track chair at the training, the student will be responsible for picking up a chair at our headquarters in Dalton, Ohio.
    • A parent/guardian must be present to sign equipment release form.
    • Student is responsible at their own expense for replacing track chair tires as necessary.
    • Students should come with a vehicle appropriate for transporting a racing wheelchair as only the rear wheels can be removed. Chairs are approximately 6 feet long.
    • Interested in purchasing your own track chair?  ASPO is a dealer for Invacare Top End and we can assist you with your order.
  2. Non-Equipment Loan Attendees: Students who have their own equipment are still eligible to attend the training and should arrive at 2:00 instead of 12:30.
  3. Survey: Student attendees will be required to complete a survey at the conclusion of the track and field season.
