Wildcats and Junior Wildcats Both Winners at Spring Thaw!

Adaptive Sports Ohio hosted the annual Spring Thaw April 11 and 12 at the Winterhurst Ice Arena in Lakewood. The Junior Wildcats won the Junior Tournament, and the Adult Wildcats won the Heartland Sled Hockey League ChampionshipIt
was a great weekend of hockey and a great way to cap off our season. We are proud of all of our Walleye, Boom and Wildcat athletes and teams.

The Force Battle in Chicago

The Force were in Chicago April 18 for an action-packed day of power soccer! The team dropped a close one to Turnstone in their first game, 2-1, but bounced back with a 2-1 win over GLASA and 3-1 win over DASA. Congrats to Team Force on another great weekend!

Lady Cavs at Nationals

Lady Cavs played in the NWBA’s Women’s National Championships April 10 and 11 in Colorado Springs. The team consisted entirely of players from Ohio who played OIAS wheelchair basketball. They were also the youngest team in the field, with the majority of the players under the age of 15. They came into every game with high energy and intensity, playing against much older and experienced teams. The team went 1-3 on their trip, closing out strong with a 29-point win over Parasport Spokane. Madyson earned top honors being selected to the All-Tournament Team!

Upcoming Events

Force Charity Game

The Force will host a power soccer charity game this Saturday, April 25 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Medina High School. The event will consist of two games, the first will start at 4:15 p.m. Fans in attendance will have the opportunities to support power soccer. In between the two games, Team Force’s Zander Helfrich will sign a letter of intent to play college power soccer at Auburn University.

Walleye vs. Toledo Rockets Charity Scrimmage

The Walleye and University of Toledo Hockey Team will meet up for a charity scrimmage this Saturday, April 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the Team Toledo Ice House in Toledo, OH. Fans can gain admission by donation.

Reserve Your Spot at Dream Camp 2026

Join us at Dream Camp Friday, July 24 through Sunday, July 26 for a weekend of adaptive sports and recreation! During this overnight camp, attendees will participate in wheelchair basketball, wheelchair softball, kayaking, swimming, track, and more!
